Took the car up to Aleko on the first morning. Twenty minutes out of the city and you are in hairpins, which nobody had told us before we booked.

Cheap, and the car was older than the photo suggested. It did Plovdiv and back on the A1 without a complaint, so I would take it again.

Good automatic for the price and easy in the centre. Worth knowing the parking zones are paid on weekdays before you drive in.
